Ready to take your quoting on the road? The SemaQuote mobile app puts your entire business in your pocket. Whether you are meeting a customer on-site, checking your schedule between jobs, or sending a quick invoice from the truck, you will have everything you need right at your fingertips.
This guide walks you through downloading and setting up the app on your device.
Before You Begin
Let's make sure your device is ready. Here is what you need:
iPhone and iPad:
- iOS 15.0 or later
- At least 100 MB of free storage
- An Apple ID for downloading from the App Store
Android:
- Android 10.0 or later
- At least 100 MB of free storage
- A Google account for downloading from Google Play
Not sure which version you have? Check your device settings under "About" to see your current operating system version.
Install on iPhone or iPad
Getting SemaQuote on your Apple device takes just a few taps:

Open the App Store on your device (the blue icon with a white "A").

Tap the Search tab at the bottom of your screen.

Type SemaQuote in the search field and tap Search.

Find the SemaQuote app with the blue icon and tap it to see more details.

Tap Get to start the download. If you have downloaded SemaQuote before, you will see a cloud icon with an arrow instead.

Confirm the download using Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password.

Once the download completes, the app appears on your home screen automatically.

Tap the SemaQuote icon to open the app and get started.
Pro tip: If you want the app to update automatically, go to Settings > App Store and turn on "App Updates." This way, you will always have the latest features without thinking about it.
Install on Android
Here is how to get SemaQuote on your Android device:

Open the Google Play Store (the colorful triangle icon).

Tap the search bar at the top of your screen.

Type SemaQuote and tap the search icon or press Enter.

Find the SemaQuote app in the results and tap it.

Tap Install to begin the download.

If prompted, review the permissions and tap Accept.

Wait for the installation to finish. You will see "Open" when the app is ready.

Tap Open to launch SemaQuote, or find the icon in your app drawer.
Pro tip: To enable automatic updates, open the SemaQuote listing in Google Play, tap the three-dot menu, and select "Enable auto-update."
Sign In to Your Account
Now that the app is installed, let's get you logged in:

Open the SemaQuote app.

On the welcome screen, tap Sign In.

Enter your email address and password.

Tap Sign In to access your account.
New to SemaQuote? No problem. Tap Create Account instead, and the app will guide you through setting up your business profile. You will enter your company name, contact details, and a few basic settings to get started. Learn more in our account creation guide.
First-Time Setup
When you sign in on a new device for the first time, the app will ask you to configure a few settings. Taking a moment to set these up now will save you time later:
Notifications: We recommend tapping "Allow" when prompted. This way, you will know instantly when a client views your quote, approves your work, or sends a payment. You can always fine-tune your notification preferences later.
Microphone access: The app needs this permission to use voice-to-quote, one of SemaQuote's most popular features. Grant access now, or enable it later in your device settings when you are ready to try it.
Biometric lock: For added security, you can protect the app with Face ID, Touch ID, or your fingerprint. This keeps your business data safe even if someone else picks up your phone. Learn how to set up biometric lock.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Running into problems? Here are solutions to the most common installation issues:
The app will not download
- Check your connection. Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see if one works better.
- Free up space. Delete unused apps or photos to make room for SemaQuote.
- Restart your device. A quick reboot often resolves temporary issues.
The app crashes when opening
- Update your operating system. Make sure you have the latest version of iOS or Android installed.
- Reinstall the app. Delete SemaQuote and download it again from the store.
- Contact support. If crashes continue, reach out to us at support@semaquote.com.
You cannot find the app in the store
- Check the spelling. Search for "SemaQuote" as one word, no spaces.
- Verify device compatibility. Make sure your device meets the minimum requirements listed above.
- Check regional availability. The app may not be available in all countries yet. Contact support for information about availability in your area.
Keep Your App Updated
